We’re looking forward to what comes NEXT for New England Frontier Camp
As has been the case for generations, our programs build strong Christian disciples using God’s Word and Outdoor Experiences. As long as we are here to continue to serve, that will be the heart of what we do.
The last NE Frontier Camp Capital Campaign saw the completion of the “Joe and Betsy Moody Lodge” in 2019. This project was a wonderful testament to what God can do! As we look ahead to the 2030’s and beyond, we are excited to see just how He will continue to use this place, our programs, and so many amazing people to build Christian disciples and impact lives in a powerful way.
While we continue to battle each year against rising costs and aging infrastructure, we have made progress in the last ten years to “steady the financial ship”, and provide an ever-improving experience for all the campers and participants we see here each year. We are still looking for additional new monthly financial partners to join TEAM 75 and be a part of our regular support network.
We recognize that it is time to look ahead to the larger needs that NEFC has in our immediate future and ask you to join us in meeting these needs. Each specific need is further detailed below.
Altogether, our hope and aim is to raise just over $100,000 between October 2026 and December 2027 in order to meet these needs.

Replacement .22 Rifles
After more than three decades in service teaching responsible firearm use, safety, and fun, our inventory of .22 rifles are in need of replacement. While we would love to continue using these firearms, we simply can no longer get replacement parts to keep them functioning reliably as the manufacturer stop producing them many years ago and we have depleted the stockpile of repair parts we had.
Any additional funds given over the cost of replacing the rifles will go first toward building a reasonable inventory of repair parts for these rifles and then toward the project in this campaign that is closest to being fully funded.

After serving to keep campers protected from the elements for over 50 years, our four Stockade cabin buildings need new roofing shingles installed. We have received several quotes to see this work completed, and we hope to see this work done soon so these cabins can continue to house campers for another 50 years or more!
Any additional funds given over the cost of the roofing work will go toward replacing some of the staircases that will be in need of work soon and then the Capital Fund.

New Bunk Mattresses
Some of our cabin mattresses have been in service for decades are are no longer up to the task of providing a good nights rest. We would like to replace some mattresses by upgrading the cabin mattresses we are using in the Moody Lodge and moving the cabin mattresses back to cabins… a win all around!

The original plan for our well water system included a storage tank, but additional costs at the time deferred that portion of the project.
In recent summers we have experienced water capacity issues during camp weeks. While our well produces a good flow and has a reasonable recharge rate, it has struggled to meet demand during peak usage and periods of summer drought. It is time to add storage for additional capacity to keep fresh, clean water running all summer long!

When the men who were involved in the earliest days here in Lovell opened Camp, they knew that the Garage was not well suited or well located to serve the facilities needs of this ministry, and that has been repeatedly recognized over the years. We are ready to move forward with a plan to move Maintenance Team to a new building in a location that better suits everyone.
In the first phase of this project, we are looking to build a building shell that can have the interior finished over time as we raise funding and best determine how the space should function.
Any additional funds given over the first phase of the Maintenance Building will go will go toward the project in this campaign that is closest to being fully funded.

The generator that provides backup power to the Dining Hall and A-Lodge is now about three decades old and while it has served us well, it was never powerful enough to meet all the power needs of the building. It is now only functioning minimally and the parts to return it to complete functionality are no longer available. We are looking to replace it with a new unit that can appropriately back up the entire building during an outage.
Any additional funds given over the generator replacement will go toward the project in this campaign that is closest to being fully funded.
