Dave Nicastro
Dave Nicastro entered into the United States Marine Corp in Aug 1996. While in his Infantry and Security Forces School he was selected to the Second Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team Company (FAST Co) which brought him to be a part of such security missions as the bombing of the US Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya in 1998 and the security of US Embassies in Kosovo and Macedonia during a time of civil unrest. David finished his time in FAST Co conducting Maritime operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. David moved onto Private Security work in Iraq and Afghanistan from May 2004 through Dec 2014. Dave currently works with anti-trafficking organizations, veterans programs that help in overcoming the difficulties of healing and adapting back into civilian life after combat and military service, as well as speaking to men about overcoming the difficulties of rewiring our lives, after loss, trauma, and adult and childhood challenges through a life following Jesus Christ.
Scott Haima
Scott is the Executive Director of the National Coalition of Ministries to Men (NCMM) which brings together more than 200 organizations and independent ministers who share a single objective: to connect the men who disciple men. Previously Scott served as the President of CSB Ministries / Christian Service Brigade, a ministry that for over 80 years has been building godly men of today and tomorrow. He is passionate about mentoring and discipling boys and young men. Raised in the Detroit, MI, then Buffalo, NY area – Scott thrived growing up in Royal Rangers, a ministry very similar to CSB, even earning its highest award, the Gold Medal of Achievement. Before answering the call to full-time ministry in 2010, Scott served for six years in the US Air Force, then was a professional in finance, serving in various capacities at Praxair, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Buffalo Sabres Hockey Club, and Merchants Insurance Group. “Mentoring and discipleship isn’t hard, it just takes time. The first step in being an effective mentor – is just showing up, and being there. Quality happens in the middle of quantity.”

Renew is a Christ-centered weekend designed to refresh the body, mind, and spirit of men through God’s Word, worship, fellowship, and outdoor adventure. Held at New England Frontier Camp in the heart of autumn, this weekend will call men to stand firm in their faith, strengthen their walk with God, and serve with courage in their homes, churches, and communities.
